On Thursday morning the Highlanders head to Nationals for only the second time in their history. They go having won an impressive three trophies in the past three weekends; South U19 Champions, NC Youth Rugby U19 Champions, and overall NC State Champions (for the fourth consecutive year).
As Coach Joseph said in the Chapel Hill News on Wednesday morning, "I've told the players that everything from here on in is a bonus."
For thirteen of the players and two of the coaches traveling there will be happy memories of their last visit to Pittsburgh, as members of the victorious North Carolina All Star U17 and U19 teams last June.
There will be several of us blogging during the next few days, so please follow the team's progress as they try to do what no other team from the South has ever done at the National Championships.
